It’s time for us to establish a new vision for what meaningful leadership means. I’m running for re-election because Colorado deserve so much better than what we’ve gotten.
Colorado has real problems facing us – rapid inflation, growing public safety and crime concerns, and an education system that is not serving our children. I will work towards real solutions and fixes and help us move in the right direction once again.
As a business owner, husband, and father, I am running for state legislature to secure the future of our state and community. Our community needs a voice that will reject political grandstanding and pursue commonsense conservative solutions to the challenges of our time.
As the founder of Atlas Coffees in Ken Caryl, I’ve seen firsthand how tough it is for small businesses and their employees – and as importantly, how many elected officials pretend to care when the cameras are on but are nowhere to be found when the hard work of legislating comes due. Too often, our legislature will pass laws regulating minute aspects of our lives without ever considering if it is the proper role of government – or if their plans will even work! As a state legislator, I’ve sought to limit the role of government in our lives and prevent overreach whenever possible.
Keeping Our Neighborhoods Safe
I strongly support our law enforcement and will stand up against the far-left’s efforts to undermine law enforcement or defund the police. As your representative, I’ve stood firm in support of those who keep us safe. As crime surges in the Denver metro area, it’s critical that we reject the radical and irresponsible approach of defunding or even abolishing the police. Instead, we need a leader who will stand up for the men and women who keep our communities secure and keep crime out. I’m proud that as a state legislator, I’ve previously earned the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police and worked hand-in-hand with law enforcement.
Creating a Strong Economy
Colorado needs to fight the rampant inflation and exploding costs of living that our residents are facing. The inflation of the last year is more than I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime, and it’s threatening our way of life – the ability of a middle-class family to live and thrive in Colorado is quickly becoming out of reach.
As a state representative, I have pursued free-market limited-government policies that create the right conditions for a thriving economy and is responsive to the needs of everyday Coloradans. I will aggressively work to prune wasteful spending, bring honesty to unaccountable programs, and create transparency in the many unnecessarily complicated programs of government.
As a proud product of Jeffco and Littleton public schools, I know empowering parents and students to make their own educational choices increases quality at all schools by introducing competition and accountability. Educational choices are best made at the local level, by parents and those who know the community and children best. That’s why I’ve been a leader in school choice and educational accountability, and a voice to ensure that educational choices remain at the local level to ensure that every family has the opportunity for a great education regardless of their circumstances.
